Title: MARKETING REPRESENTATIVE
My Insurance Agency is responsible for meeting the ever-changing insurance and financial services needs of clients. We are seeking an assertive, experienced sales rep/rep with a positive can-do-attitude. The best candidate will be internally motivated; have a desire to achieve exceptional results; and the willingness to do “what others will not” to achieve their goal and objectives. The best candidate will recognize and value the consistent use of systems and processes. Their knowledge and experience will have taught them the importance of frequent customer contact; being the customer solution; the importance of relationships; awareness that price is one factor in the decision making process but not the only factor; the value of mutual respect, high ethical standards, and the benefits of doing business the right way. Knowledge/experience in direct sales, insurance, banking is valuable.
INCOME
We are looking for reps with the drive, skill, commitment and prospects needed to earn a minimum of $50,000+ per year.
TERRITORY
Candidates selected will be required to become licensed in the state of Illinois and will be encouraged to maximize the complete marketplace. Office location is in the Broadview, Bellwood, Forest Park, La Grange Park, Maywood, North Riverside and Westchester area.
Candidates that can see the value of this opportunity and demonstrate the ability to excel will be considered.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
a. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in direct sales. The ability to develop/establish a list of 50-100 prospects that they can immediately contact will support a fast start for success. This experienced representative has the ability to develop deep and meaningful relationships with clients based on mutual respect and trust, the ability to consistently meet/exceed customer expectations and high ethical standards is required. With ease, the ideal representative will be able to enhance their level of service to clients with 0ne-Stop-Shop. i.e. “We have the resources to meet all of your business needs” is the primary business strategy.
b. In some cases, the ideal candidate is licensed and has prior experience selling/marketing insurance and financial services. In this case, the ideal candidate will be able to provide details on their prior success and how they plan to utilize their prior experience to grow the client base in this agency.
c. Ideal candidates have a drive/desire to achieve. Their reason for applying for this opportunity is their desire to be compensated for peak performance and “pay-for-performance.”
d. The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term career that will allow them to continue to increase their income; obtain trips, bonuses, and other rewards and incentives.

· The ability to work independently; manage their time; and develop a focused growth strategy.
· Insurance and financial services knowledge is beneficial.
· A minimum of 2-years of college or other advanced education.
· The ability to successfully achieve a state license in auto, fire, life, and health insurance is required.
DUTIES:
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
· Identify new sales opportunities and customer prospects by developing leads, analyzing and qualifying opportunities.
· Develop/build client relationships.
· Deliver sales results by using consistent systems and processes.
· Unwavering commitment to high ethical standards.
· Work with clients to meet existing needs and cultivate opportunities to meet future needs.
· Have the ability to develop business plans and strategies for market growth.
· Develop sales opportunities by determining customer needs; outlining plans to meet these needs; meet client needs.
Evaluation Process:
· Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a drug screen.
· A background check and credit check will be completed.
· Complete a formal interview process.
· Meet other state and federal licensing requirements.
